hi all.

i was wondering if someone could help me locate an old thread.  a couple months back, a thread went around about hooking a vacuum guage to a vacuum port on your manifold and turning your distributor until you get max pressure on the guage. does this ring any bells with anyone?  i've been scouring the old threads but can't seem to find it.

thanks matt but i don't think that's the thread i'm looking for.

i remember somewhere in the thread someone commented on another member's math and how it boggled their mind.

i don't know, maybe i just imagining all of it

That procedure for timing from Colorado Corvette Crazies ( CCC) seems to me a perfect idea ! and simple !  Never seen the idea to begin without the springs ....simple and correct .
