I hope I can attach a picture. I am rebuilding my motor and I can’t remember what went into the hole. Don’t know if it is oil sending unit or just a bolt. Please help me me. Close to firing back up.

It is just beliw the driver side of the distributor. I can’t seem to down load a picture. How do I do it so you can see it.

Well....there's no pic, but I hafta assume yer talking aboot the oil pressure hole there. If you do not have an oil pressure sender down by the oil filter, then you should have one here...

If you DO have a sender down by the filter, then you need to plug this hole with a pipe plug.
As for pics, you need to Upload them to your PFF(personal file folder) here, and then insert the links in the post. You have several pics there already, so you have done it before.

It is also the fitting to attach the plastic oil pressure line when you have a gauge in the cluster in the center stack in the passenger compartment. MOST of the sender units I've seen are mounted down by the oil filter. Never one configured like the one in the picture. If it works then it's good to go.
