As the title says, I'm trying to find a cowl induction air box that will fit on the 383 in my 79. I have a high rise cowl hood, but my 79 has the snorkel airbox and ram air thing in front which I don't like. I think it takes up too much space, and really what's the point of the cowl if it's sucking from the front anyway.
I thought about trying to make one myself, but I don't really have the tools and equipment here to fab up a box/ducting that will go to the back of the cowl to suck in air by the windshield.
I'd be much obliged if anyone has a setup like this and can show me pics, or can maybe link me to a place that sells them.
