Thanks Gene and Rick,  I know I had read several people who had gone that route without too much trouble.  Think I'll call Summit on Monday and see what they have to say.  If anyone has some others they have had good experience with please let me know.
Thanks

I wish I could remember the name of the fellow too - he's ethe Edelbrock guy that travels with powertour.  If you are willing to give them a chance ask for an experienced tech or if you don't get the kind of service or reponse that ypu believe is appropriate ask to be transfered to mr. Edelbrocks office - that will shake up some people for sure.

Thanks RUCRUZIN,
I may not need to call Vic Edelbrock, we have  Winner Circle Speed Shop here and I went in there to see what they could do and so far they have beat Summits price to the point I may be able to add headers and a new carb for almost the same $$ as the pieced out Power Package.  They are huge Edelbrock fans so I think wanted to make it right, but hey for the price I'm good with that.
At any rate if you have one of these shops in your area by all means check out their prices.  I know they have several but most may be in Illinois.

Wondering if you have sold the 2101 intake and valve covers yet. I am interested in these if you still have them. Thanks

I have a 2101 intake but I think you are wanting to contact Tux who had the intake and valve covers.
See what he wants to do and if he still has the items you need.  I don't want to step on his toes since he made the first offer to sell.  HE has helped me plenty so want to stay on his good side.  If he has sold it though let me know and I can send you more info on the one I have.

Nope..... If you want the intake and valve covers for the price stated and you pay shipping it's yours.

I'll clean them all up some before I send them. Right now they are just the way I received them from EBAY. (which isn't bad...) The covers will need grommets in the oil holes that you chose to use.....

The 2101 I told how I got it previously. The valve covers came with an Edelbrock breather that I wanted. I am changing out some of my chrome engine stuff for polished / ball milled aluminium. I like the look and it doesn't retain heat like chrome.

If you can make a better deal with Brad that's fine too. I am a best deal kinda guy.... (that's why I sweetend my intake deal with the covers....)

We don't have Summits here in Michigan but I am glad you saved the dough.  Headers are cool - I put Hookers on mine with chrome side pipes and found this company that makes a kind of space age heat shield that is chrome and sits 1/4 inch above the header yet drops the temp almost 70 degrees - no more leg burns!Clap
