Vette(s): 1982 Bright Blue Corvette Coupe, 5.7L 350 V8 w/ a performance chip & 160-degree fail-safe thermostat, K&N filters, Hedman Headers & a tru-dual exhaust w/ Borla tips. Turbo-700 has a B&M Shift Kit & rear end has 3.73 posi-gears.
Has anyone been successful in converting a small block Chevy engine's annoying five belt system to a single serpentine belt?? Any input (good or bad) would be appreciated.

Thanks,
AKA - DitchDoctor

Vette(s): 1972 Coupe Anything, but Stock and more mods to come! SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
Something I will be doing this winter. I have the March Front Mount system.

I would think it would be fairly easy since GM has a kit out that you can get through Pace, Scoggin Dickey, Summit Racing etc.

March, Zoops, Vintage Air, and Billet Specialities all have kits has well. Aftermarket of course.

The GM kit uses all factory components and may be a better fit depending on if you have AC and what type of compressor you have.

Everything I have is aftermarket so I went Aftermarket.

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
The advantage of the serp belt set up is less drag in the belt and pullies. This means more power to the wheels. It's not a lot, and not very noticable on the street, but will make a difference on the track.
It also takes up less under hood space.
