My only comment would be to think about doing it yourself, it's reall not that difficult and the end results can be rewarding!

Give it a shot!

County Corvette in West Chester will do anything you want. My DAD says he has had excellent service from them and they have been very helpful in answering any questions I might have.

The group going to the Spring Fling in Exton, PA is going to get a tour of their facilities. I understand the facility is the best.

They are not cheap however and when it comes to Corvettes be careful of anyone too cheap.

HI Dave,

It may not be difficult and I would like to detail my engine and conpartment someday, but I have been told to do it right is incredibly time consuming.

It can be time consuming to do it correctly. The work can be more difficult if someone got there before you and did a poor job that must be undone. Just be sure that whomever you take it to can do it correctly. Get a restoration guide and go over the what color goes where with the shop. A properly detailed engine compartment looks as good to me as a great paint job!

Good luck with it.

You hit the nail on the head. Someone before me had a fit with a black spray bomb in the engine compartment.
