Vette(s): 1972 conv., sunfire yellow, blk interior, blk vinyl and convertible top. Off frame restoration with American Speed 383 stroker engine producing 500hp plus a 200hp NOS system. MSD ignition. Hooker super competition headers with chambered exhaust.
Check the numbers on the heads again. Are you sure it's not 3927186 instead of 3827186?
3927186 heads are 69-70 302/350 camelhump 64cc chambers.
3970010 block could be either 69 302 4 bolt for Z28 Camaro, 69 327 2 bolt for trucks or industrial use, or 69-80 2 or 4 bolt used in most C3 years.
From Mortec site. (try googleing mortec)

Hi OSSW1,
I'm looking the Corvette Black Book for 1970, and those numbers look to be correct.
I have a 70 Vette with a 77 engine in it. I'd like to find on the east coast what you appear to have successfully located.
Try craiglist it shows city's threw out the U.S and pick one close to you. I found a 70 hood with the wiper door and grill for 650.00 on this site. I just look at it every single day.
approx.20k since rebuild. casting # 3970010 4 bolt main brgs date code B-17-0. head casting # 3827186 date code B-20-0. sig erson rv15h cam. Have 9 qt. factory corvette oil pan available.
This is the complete add.
