Anything, but Stock and more mods to come!
SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
Well I finally got around to tearing down my engine. I always forget how much of a workout it can be by the time your done your arms are tired from all the wrenching. (not a big fan of using a impact wrench for diassasembly)
Anyway I'm delivering the block to the machine shop tomorrow so they can work their magic. The owner is taking it to a company in michigan that has a new state of the art machining process and is thinking about buying one of these machines. So he thought he would take my block with him along with three others for this company to use to educate them on the new machine.
Won't get it back for a couple weeks. So that will give me plenty of time to do other work.

Small block.
I'll be picking up my heads from Automotive Specialists out of NC this week while I'm at the PRI show in Indy. They build Nascar and Hooter Cup engines. I had them take a pair Holley's aluminum heads and work them over so they flow a little more.
Over all plans
358 CID (350 40 Overbore)
Billet Main Cap 2 bolt to 4 bolt conversion
Internals Include Lunati Crank 3.493 Stoke, Lunati Forged Pistons -7cc dish, 6" Lunati Steel Rods, Lunati Hyd Flt Tappet Cam Mildly aggressive, Roller Rocker Arms
Milodon Road Race pan, Milodon oil pump, All milodon Stud Fastners, Milodon True Roller Timing Set, Mildon Timing cover, Weiand 7547 Intake, Holley 650 Carb
Final Compression will be 10:1.
Should make about 380 HP and about 400 lb ft.

I decided to keep the engine on the mild side using forged pistons, because I will also be topping it off with a 125 shot of nitrous. I'll use it when I need to push it closer to 500 hp and 500 lb ft. This way I have the best of both worlds. Something thats I nice streetable engine, but can throw a switch to throw down on anyone unsuspectedly.
It might make more power, have to wait and see. If it makes more thats fine. I've been told to expect that the final combo will make closer to 425.
What you have to remember is most, including my base model 350 only made 200 hp. Doing this engine means I've doubled the power that I'm already use too. I've driven a lot of cars with 400 hp and they can get real scary real fast if your not use to it.
I've even been behind the wheel of 700 HP cars while fun, their not very street friendly, consume lots of gas, and you very quickly find yourself breaking other parts.
