Does anyone know the paint code for that lite blue engine color like on my 78 L-48? Thanks.

As far as I know, there is no code for engine paint, just a color description.
In 77 the color of all GM engines was changed to blue. I believe it was called Corporate Blue.

Ken , does your engine have ANY paint ? 
As a matter of fact it does. And it's the correct Chevrolet orange. When I got it there was a little bit, but peeling and ugly. Much better now.
