Blew my knee out while I was repairing, of all things, the garden tractor. Now all my new parts just sit there teasing me with the sexy glimour of polished and blackened steel. I hobble to my front door a couple of times a week to accept even more peices for the rebuild. Each new package taunts me with a deaffening nah nah nah nah nah nah...
OK, maybe it's a little much. I have to wait till my daughter gets here so I can sit myself down and she can be my "gofer". I love that she likes working on the vette.

I am sure you will get to it soon rather then later. New parts are magnetized and they affect human brains in a funny way. You can always fondle the parts.

I've been down that road buddy. Here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes.
"fondle the parts" What a sick and twisted comment...You know, if I wear cotton gloves I can polish them as well!
Nice weekend. My daughter and I had fun starting to "dry" fit the accessories. I did get the 3/4" spacer to use with the Edelbrock carb and stock air cleaner. I'm not sure if I'll keep the stock air cleaner but at least it's an option.
