engine suffix code

can anyone help thanks,
just bought a 1979 corvette c3 L82 from the USA to the uk as a project car.
engine has been changed looks like l82 head gear all there but just checked engine code which reads
VO518TMX this is the one on the machined surface, i have cleaned it all off so im pretty sure that these number and letters are correct.
can anyone give some assistance with identifying what these mean.

V   plant code for Flint (Michigan) engine assembly plant
0518  May 18th  date engine was assembled at Flint
TMX  engine suffix indicates a 74-77 350CID 160hp small block
 
TMX is not a Corvette code and probably has two bolt main caps; the engine has been replaced.
 
There should be a second number stamped on the pad which will be a VIN derivitive of the original vehicle this engine was installed in.

totally correct
just found this off another website.
thats fine I new the block had been changed, no surprises there in a 1979 car.

the only thing stamped on the front pad is:
C81184717
thats it.
any idea what this is?
is it a "Target" motor?

i just found what the TSH is.
its a truck ,1975 either 215 or 250 hp depending on vin.
my vin on the engine does not match up wih the info i found.
so not sure what hp it is ??
