Ken, I have installed two new oil pans with two new Fel-pro one piece gaskets, so after a total of three I prayed at least one would have worked. (how much torque can I put on one of the Fel-Pro gaskets?) When the engine warm's up not only is it blowing by the gasket it's spitting out where the dip stick press's into the oil pan.

Saturday I will check for correct PCV, after that I will take the breather off put my hand over the hole and check for pressure or vacuum.

Otay...I'm gonna sacrifice what little dignity I have left, and ax a stoopid question...

Roger....are you sure the oil is not overfilled?
Could it be that there is too much oil in da pan, and the crank is throwing it onto the pan("windage"), and creating the "leaks"?
Are you perhaps using a chromed oil pan?

Adam right now I will look at anything, I have a stock pan (not chrome) and put almost 5 quarts in.

Yup, that do sound 'bout right.
Like I said, just graspin at a straw nobody had pulled on yet! I've seen overfilled engines do what you are describing, as far as the pan leak, and spittin the dippin stick out.

Is the pan leaking out the sides, the front/rear, or all of the above?
Are the valve covers leaking, also?

The pan seems to be leaking in the front and the back also as I mentioned the dipstick. The valve covers do not leak.

Update: Put a new gasket on saturday then started Sunday.

I checked the breather side of the valve covers and there was slight vacuum (I assume thats ok)  then I ran the car around the block then here comes the oil out of the front. I think I need to look into wrong oil pans (yes two from two sources)

I noticed on the front of the pan there is about 1/2" of pan exposed before the gasket hits?????
