Vette(s): White 1975 L48 Stingray 129,000 Miles, daily driver.
My C3 is very cold-blooded, getting better, but still cold at heart. She also sounds like she is running fairly ragged, especially at hot idle(stop lights etc) One of the other Vette guys I talked to at the show I was at on Sunday said I should use carburator cleaner and that that would help some. It also appears that my choke is not properly attached(its odd, not sure how to describe...) big plastic cover with a screw slot in the center, on the edge of the plastic piece there is one little brass(bronze?) piece with a screw through it, and the guy said that there should be a second bracket on the other side of the choke, and that it may well be that the choke is completely screwed up inside there. I didn't want to take it off there and check, but now I'm not sure what I'm looking for, so its become a lose lose situation again. I'll post pictures if I can the day after tomorrow or something(next day with a digi-cam & vette in same place) any suggestions/advice would be great.
