Cry  Regular Gas in N.E. Pa., is now $4.00 a gallon!  High test is $4.35.  So much for fall travel. We got $66.00 worth this morning. I have to go to work. First frost was 09/11/12! OUCH. Had to scrape the windshield.

super OUCH.  The big thing here in SC is a few stations are going to pure gas (NO ethanol).  It is a tad bit more expensive, but I do get a tad bit better mileage.  I am extremely lucky.  My house is 4.1 miles from the office.  My daily driver is a 2000 triple black convertible that was bought in 2005 (my wife's idea) and if I drive it ONLY to work and back (use her car on the weekends for errands) I can fill up once per month.  Last time I filled up the price was $3.99.9 per gallon for the high test.  Mid-grade is 10 cents cheaper, but when I fill up only once per month, that would be a difference of approximately $1.50 - $1.60 for the tank...not worth it.

Mr. Ebo Sir,
I don't know how you would attach that to the top of your Corvette(s)!

It's getting back up there again here, too. $3.85 for mid-grade. I don't even look at the price of Premium anymore....just slide the card thru and fill-er-up. Too depressing if I know how much I just spent....

Gas was 3.99 yesterday in northwestern PA when I filled up. Going to have to be like nascar  when I take a ride and let off early coast thru the corners and kill the engine on the down hills.

I do a lot of coasting too, but in the C5.  If I take my foot off of the gas pedal in the C3, even on a pretty good hill, I slow down and almost stop.

Geez, Mark, guess we're lucky so far, gas here in Wichita is $3.72 for reg, $3.84 for mid and $3.96 for premium.  Just filled up this morning and cost $68.00 in the C6.  I drive my little pickup with the V6 most of the time and get @ 20mpg in town.  Gonna have to look for a go-cart if things get much worse.   Cry
