Today was the day finally phew I tried to crank her without starting her up but that didn't work out too well, the darn thing fired right up, pretty surprising since the engine has been sitting for about 8 months. Had a ginormous fuel leak so I had to shut it right down and figure out where I screwed up. About 3 hours later I rolled her back out of the garage and she roared right back up. With no major issues this time so I let her run for about 5 mins. I thought the 383 would thump a bit more than it does, but shoot I ain't complaining Big%20smile The pypes exhaust sounds crazy good from the back, not too loud, definately a good combo with the engine and headers.

I gotta whole lot more work to do but it was nice to finally get a little validation from this project. I thought that by pushing hard to get the engine running that it would help ease mind mind a bit, but wrong answer! Now it's even worse I want to drive her so bad now it's really killing me!
Many, many thanks to everyone on here that has helped me out, all the input I've gotten so far has made this project what it is!Thumbs%20Up

It sure looks good sitting down inside there. I know what your saying about the waiting game. It won't be much longer now. That little bit of rumble is a great motivator!

Good news! I am not to far behind ya. I still have ice on the street which is going to go away anytime soon. So I still have a little time yet.Big%20smile
