This is the first time I have made a video and put it on the web. Starting my engine after 16 years and 2 years after it was rebuilt.
That is exactly how it started and I let it run for 20 minutes at 2000 rpm and checked for leaks, fires, sparks, melting wires, etc...
This thing ran like a top. I still have a lot of work to do but at least I know that the engine runs.

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

I really like that you included the first try!! That's great Dennis. So why did it get rebuilt in '06 and not started until '08?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
I had to move the car 3 times due to people selling their house or garages and I did not work on it in the winter. Right now the car is at my girlfriends house in the backyard up on a wooden ramp and under a canopy.

Good one, Dennis! I also liked the first try. Now get yourself healthy and get back to work!

Music to the ears, Dennis.
Congratulations and great work. Hope it won't be too long before you have it back on the road again.
