custom76  with any other intake I run into clearance problems with the hood... thats why i went with the Torker II 2-0, its a low rise... I know single plane hurts low end.... but I dont feel like getting a new hood to clear the hi-rise intake...

I wonder if the loss of low end torque would be noticable with the intake I have for it??? even with the new cam, lifters and stuff?

You will keep more low end grunt with a dual plane than you will with a single plane manifold, but the single will help the top end.
You manifold selections should follow, not lead, your cam selection and the rpm factors involved there.  The exhaust also comes into play.  You must match the system to gain anywhere, without losing everywhere.

I agree with Joel,  I much perfer the Comp and Lunati cams.    And I tend to favor the Lunati.  Only due to their newest grind profiles.   My Lunati gave me an equal HP and torque rise across the entire rpm range, not just low, mid, or high range.  I'm very happy with it.   And I have seen some other cam companies not follow their own grind specs as well as the should, and have some variation between cylinders, along with some of the same problems Joel metioned.
