my car runs around 70 to 80 pounds of oil pressure when Im on the freeway. If I'm not up to operating temperature when I get on the freeway it is over that. is this a problem? I am useing the factory gauge |headscratch|

Howdy,
I would check the sending unit and the gage that is pretty high!

It is higher than I would expect, but it could be accurate. If it is, I would not worry about it a bit. You may have a high flow oil pump. What is the reading at idle? That will give us a clue, but the only way to be sure is to hook up a seperate gauge and compare. If it's off, chances are it's the sending unit.
