How do you time a 350

I went to get my 75's timing checked. But the timing degree indicator is not there, what can I do now? |cheers|

If you are talking about the tab that attaches to the timming chain cover, you can buy a replacement that bolts directly to the cover.

time it by non ported vacuum (intake vacuum)

when the vacuum is peak leave it there.

It's at peak when the Inches of Mercury on a Vacuum meter connected with the intake manifold pressure is the highest STABLE on the guage, while the engine is idling. Of course, natural instinct says that non-stock cams will alter the field of play on that, but I could be dead wrong.
