I hear ya. Both the Holley and the Q-Jet have big time adherents (like Ford & Chevy guys). Both are good carbs or they wouldn't have lasted as long as they have. Rochesters are just a bit harder to maintain. Let me know what you decide and whether it actually solves your problems. Happy New Year!

Well I havent had the car out since the spray deal so I will be interested in whether it still works well or if I did swell up the acc pump for a short fix.
I will check on the e-bay deal but e-bay has not worked well for us as it must have for countless others.
If everyone had our results with e-bay, even after double checking all the input and references, e-bay would not exist.
And a Happy New Year to you also!

sorry to hear about your trouble with ebay. have had a few problems over the years but most of the transactions have gone smoothly. one thing i did learn recently is not to just look at the score on the page but to open and look at the detailed feedback. the percentage on the page may not accurately show how good a seller is. in a way it is like hear in that a newbie may post a lot in the first week he is here and it shows he is one of the top posters. it is done by a percentage in a short period which can affect the numbers.
have gotten a lot of parts for my 75 and 90 from ebay and some of them have been very hard parts to find.
good luck with the carb hunt.
