Vette(s): 75 coupe being restored. engine rebuilt & complete interior resto with interior color change. more when i get it together. i am not going original as over my head, too expensive and i'd rather drive than tinker. thats to frustrating for me.
I have a 1975 with the original engine (rebuilt) 355CI approx 400hp, however there is no choke! I would like to install a choke system on the engine so I do not have to warm the car up manually. The carb is a 650 Holley Double pumper#4777 with a MSD 6A, 10.5-1 flattop hypereutectic pistons, Vortec Heads,K&N filter and a Holley mechanical fuel pump (110gph). I have limited mechanical abilities but would like to install this myself. Am I out of my league here or would I be able to do it myself, also what would be the estimate on the cost? I would like to go with something reasonably priced, but efficient! Thanks for your replies!!

Anything, but Stock and more mods to come!
SSBC Force 10 Brakes, 3.73, TH350, 355 CID, Rack and Pinion, Vette Brakes suspension front and rear.
You will need one of the following for the conversion. Its real simple, just follow the instructions.
45-224 - Standard Dichromate finish
45-224S - Shiny tumble polished finish.
Hope that helps

The electric is by far the most dependable and consistant operation of all the chokes. Good Choice. I don't mind the manual, but would rather it did it's own work. I have not converted mine. Yet. Maybe.
