Did anyone use the Perfomer Intake on their 73 Vette with stock tach-drive dist. I was going to put it on mine but the dist hole in the intake is not the same OD as the base of the dist. Did anyone encounter this? Will the machined dist. bore in the block keep it centered? It does set on the intake dist. hole
I honestly don't know what to say now. I went in the Edelbrock web site and Summit. Both say the manifold will accept HEI distributors, but I know there is an issue with the base of your tach drive unit that is different then the HEI's. Might be worthwhile to contact Edelbrock to find out how to best deal with the problem. You will pick up some performance by changing that distributor.
Nice see through Valve covers, smoke-m! Did you custom make those or did you buy em like that?
I agree.. where did you get em??

I have a 2101 sitting in my garage. Took it off to upgrade to the Performer RPM which is littles taller but will fit with a 2" open element K&N.
Anyone interested, I'll make ya a deal you can't refuse!!
The manifild is in really good condition.
