YEAH  !!!!Big%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smile

Got the ZZ-4 cranked up today. Ran it for about 20 minutes.  Sounded real good !  Only problem I've got now is the fans aren't switching on. But that's a post in another section.

I'm so stoked about driving it again...Maybe I'll have it ready Wednesday !

Jim ! I've got the hots to build a motor, and I'm thinkin' of the specs from the ZZ4 for all around performance and reasonable economy. Please keep us posted on your feelings about your selection. And any of you other crate guys, please speak up and let us know how you feel about what you chose and how it performes compared to what you replaced. Hot Rod magazine did a buildup on a 383HT that I had my eye on but I'm thinking thats just way more motor than I want or need.

Jim:
Did you have any hood clearance issues.  I am thinking of doing the same with a 70 350.

Thanks:
Everyone I have talked with says to go with a low profile breather from EDELBROCK to make it work.  Thanks for giving me the info.

I actually have the lowest Edelbrock sitting here in a box and it's the exact same height as the one that came on the engine.

Is your hood the same as mine or are they different. I thought 70 was different.
