I am in the Everett, Wa area and looking for recommendations for a trustworthy and good machine shop for engine work.. Anyone?
Arlington to North Seattle would be ok..
Ps: this is for my '69 big block, if it makes a difference.
Thanks in advance.. Lyle

Hey Lyle, is Auburn too far? Corvettes of Auburn is the only place that I know of North of Tacoma. I've never personally used these guys for work on a vehicle so won't vouch for their work or anything. I just thought I'd mention them and let you visit them and make your own assumptions. Good luck with your search for a repitable shop.

Britco, there down south here in Centralia. Got my 383 there, Corvette and High performance in Oly dropped their name and I'm going back when I get a chance.
Ya I didn't mention Corvette & High Performance because they are down here in Olympia, but they do most my work.

They are a bit expensive but do good work and stand by their work

They haven't worked on anything for me, but I have ordered parts through them. Great customer service!
I like going to pacific corvette they always seem to have what I need in stock. They are both great places though. http://www.pacvette.com/wa/index.shtml

My number one choise would be Blood Enterprises in Auburn. Although not a Machine Shop they know who to send stuff to depending on what it needs. They are who You want to Dyno tune once Your all done. Mostly into Very Fast modern Muscle Cars. Custom Machine has moved from Ballard to Snohomish and they are Good. They build mostly Sprint Car Engines and are a Machine Shop. Action Auto Parts Machine in Shoreline ( Seattle )is Ok they do mostly Stock Stuff. The 074 Heads are Great for Originality and Lots of High end Horsepower but any Modern Aftermarket Head will out perform them on the Street.
