Debbie,

I've driven something close to 200 miles since Friday at 4:15pm =) such a great feeling to be in this car just going somewhere....and SO MANY PEOPLE ARE AMAZED!!! Old guys(grandpop's grandpop old) are givin' me the thumbs up and late teens early twenties ppl, they say stuff, always. Females say more suggestive stuff LMAO |no-no| . But seriosly. NO SPEEDING TICKETS. If i get ONE for more than ten over the limit....I MUST sell my car...promised my girlfriend I would. The way I see it is despite the enjoyment I get from the car, eventually it will go on and I'll replace it. In theory the girlfriend isn't getting replaced, and I'd rather have her than a car any day(the Vette was a close call that first week tho =) Anyway, if i do part ways with her I will have money saved up and I can buy a big block 74 which looks very much like mine except with POWER! |laugh| |laugh| |laugh| |rollysmile| Anyway, I've promised to sell the car if there is a speeding problem, and I'm a man of my word so there will be no speeding.

200 Miles in 2 days or something....WOW....I can't imagine a better vehicle...so many people complimenting and thumbs up beyond belief...and its just FUN to drive...I was out in the rain and that made me nervous, but she performed like a champ and I kept it slow...amazed me though....i hit a puddle at about 20mph and the sheet of water went COMPLETELY over the car! hehe the wipers work great though. Need to pick up some wax for her tomorrow and really make her shine...i hate having a job and school, I'd MUCH rather just get out and DRIVE...I need new tires though.

Scot,
I know how you feel. I had my first Vette when I was in my mid 20s. It was a '74 big block convertible and an absolute blast to drive. Being only about 13 months or so old when I got it, I was able to spend all my time behind the wheel. Let me tell you soomething, that feeling you get when you drive it now will feel the same 30 or 35 years from now. It just doesn't go away. If it did, us grey haired old men wouldn't be driving Vettes! Try ery hard to keep both the girlfriend and the car.

Glenn,
Doing my absolute best to keep both! The girlfriend has precedence over the car though, wonderful to drive in a Vette, but she has been with me longer, and she is definatly more of a catch than the Vette, far less replacable too.
