I'm about to replace my stock intake with an Edelbrock Performer and use my professionally rebuilt stock Quadrajet. The install is pretty straightforward, and I want to remove the EGR, EFE actuator, other parts and the vacuum lines that go with them. I'm sure others here must have done the same thing, and I want to know if anyone has run into any driveability or tuning issues with this equipment removed. It seems to me that with fewer potential vacuum leaks, and extra parts to complicate the engine's running, driveability should improve.
I'm just trying to head off potential problems. Any advice and the experience's of others is much appreciated. Thanks.
