I have the MSD Pro Billet with mechanical tach drive and the MSD 6AL bos with master blaster coil.  It starts every morning without issue, even in 20 degree temps.  It runs clean all the way to redline without hesitation.  I know my setup is a little costly, but would assume the streetfire, being an MSD product, performs well.  Good luck.

I bought the same dist. just the other day.It came recomended at the local speed shop.Hardly any noticible differences from the original GM dist, but I think it gives hotter spark?I took the original apart and modified it to be used as oil pump drive prior to starting up the motor.BTW,price was $179.00.You can get them cheaper thru mail order but then you have freight charges and the hassles if it needs to be returned.I also made freinds at the speed shop,my future banker.

Got my StreetFire for $125 from the local vette mechanic.  He gets the benefit of more $$$'s credited to him and I get the benefit of his cost break when it's available.

Runs great, especially with the new 350 running flat tops, mild cam, 993 heads (not mexico) and aftermarket intake manifold.

Streetshark is right.  the streetfire runs anytime, anyplace and all the way to redline with no hesitation.

I would highly recommend it!

Good luck with your decisionThumbs%20Up

thanks for the info. glad that someone actually uses one. from all the comments about stock distributor that i have read this should be an improvement even if it is on the "lower" end. sometimes with manufacturers like msd their lower end products preform as well as the higher end. would be different if i was to race it but not into that. i ordered one and it came to $140.xx including shipping.
