Do Vortec heads have an exhaust crossover? How do people deal with the choke when putting these heads on older divorced choke motors? Joe

I think I need to change also valve covers to center bolt ones and rocker arms to self aligning ones, rihgt?

www.scpd2000.com has a kit with everything you need to install vortec heads on an older motor, except the v/c, and they sell them too. It comes with the right bolts, gaskets, etc. Joe

Why would you stay away from the torker II. I just put one on my '70 454. I hope I didn't make a bad choice, but I did not want to change the hood and most intakes were too high.
