Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.

Johnny,

Good luck with your project. I guess you know that it will cost you many thousands of dollars to do what you are thinking about. Corvette parts aren't cheap... |cheers|

Yes Unfortunatly I am well aware that vette parts are more expensive thats why when it comes to some parts find out what other cars chevy used them on and get them from that car!
BTW this is my 5th corvette and I have had at least one corvette in my posetion for the last 10 years so I know all about parts procurement! |cheers|

Vette(s): 1979, 350sb, as my kids affectionately call it "shit brown" Corvette purchased in 1996. 84,000+ miles. Not a show car, but I love her just the same.
Paragon Reproductions is practically around the corner from me (Grand Blanc, MI). Have heard very nice things about them but have not had the necessity of dealing with them yet. Everything I have needed I have been able to find through catalogs, etc.

Anytime you have "Reproduction" in a company name, though, you're talking $$$$! I haven't noticed that they're any cheaper than anyone else, but then again, I've only had to price a few things from them so I'll stop right here.

Give them a call if you think it'll help (810)655-4641. I think this is still their current number.

Vette(s): One 1969 coupe-435 hp One 1969 coupe-not sure of motor One 1969 conv. vintage race car-L-88 race car with great history
Hello-Understand you have a '69 435hp car. I own a 435hp coupe built in April that I did a ground up on. Fortunatly mine came with the orginal motor-but had to replace the intake set-up,etc. on the motor . Along with all the other things that needed to be restored or replaced, it took a number of places to come up with all I needed. On your side is all the great resto parts made for your car-most with the original GM tooling.I have a good friend in the area that owns a corvette shop that sells parts,new and used, can help you find parts for your motor along with myself. He also restores vettes in his shop back to what ever level you would like to go. So, he can supply you with parts,knowledge, and restoration of any parts you need help with right down to doing the whole car. You can call Dick at Corvette Sports,phone# 1-920-467-2833. Address is: 720 Forest Ave. Sheboygan Falls,WI 53085 Good luck,drop me a line with ?'s. I have restored 4 vettes myself, and know I am restoring an old 69 race car with an L-88 that has a very nice history. Have fun-Johnjavascript: InsertSmile('|bouncy|');

Johnny,
If you are a member of NCRS, they publish a magazine called Drivline. In it are page after page of "number matching---dated items". If you don't see what you need, you can place an add looking for EXACTLY what you are looking for. Chances are, one of those folks will either have it or give you some good leads.
Good luck, that engine is gonna cost ya a bundle. If I remember prices correctly, the tri-power set-up with manifold and filter element will be over 2 grand by itself.
