Just purchased a new vaccum guage and the instructions are a bit unclear with regards to connecting it for Q-jet adjustments. I have never used this type of gauge before and would like some input as exactly where to connect it to obtain non-ported steady vaccum. I intend on using it on my 78 L48.
All tips, photos or explanations would certainly be appreciated.
Many thanks to those who reply.

Non ported vacuum is read at the intake manifold. If there is a port on the Q-jet that opens under the butterflies, that will work, otherwise connect to the port that is just behind the carb that the headlights feed from.

Yeah...what he said....
The fitting at the rear of the intake would be the best source.
