Well C3 officianados, my baby's back! And boy is she beautiful! I got to tell you the difference between someone working on your Vette, and someone WORKING on your Vette is truly a site to behold! Go figure that I'd have to take the vehicle to someone who doesn't own a car business, and has never worked on a Vette prior to mine, to get the person that cares as much about a car as I care about mine.

The guy who worked on it is a family friend, well, the father of a family friend, anyway. But let me tell you when he opened the hood for me last night it was like all of the angels in heaven sang one, long perfect note. Even though I didn't ask him to, he took and detailed the engine so thoroughly I was amazed. He repainted parts, he cleaned the skirts...he just went above and beyond, and that my friends is what everyone of us, who don't have the skill at the back of a wrench that some of the others on this forum have, are looking for.

He even took before and after pictures, which I will be posting to the group soon. For those of you who are true STOCK Corvette enthusiasts, you will be disappointed that I did not keep everything stock, but hey, it's mine and I love it!

I really wish I could add this guys name to the Mechanics Directory, but unfortunately I can't. I think I found a gem, and though I can't share him with the rest of you, I will share the pictures of his work at a later date.

I am so stoked! It's like the first day I purchased her all over again!

Congrats dude. We want to see those pix. If it's as wonderful as you say, send out props to your mechanic.
I am waiting for mine. I may have to go aftermarket on an oil pan until I find a correct one.
