I have an Edelbrock 2101 intake manifold, and proform black crincle valve covers.
The problem I am having is when I need to add oil, the only way is through the breather grommet.
As there is oil baffles in the valve cover, this is a slow process. It can take 15 minutes to add a complete oil change.
Does anyone have a fix for this situation?
I am contemplating taking the right side cover off, and drilling another hole to add a grommet and a push in fill cap.
Can a filler be added anywhere to the manifold?
I am sure someone on this forum has a solution.
Thanks for the help.

I have the same problem, along with alot of other people O assume. I just pulled the baffel out of one side3 of the valved cover. Then you say well you get oil and vapor running on your valve covers. Well to aliviate this, you just get some cloth scrunchis, I don't know how ta hell to spell them, the things girls put there pony tails in, then wrap then around the breather before you insert it into the valve cover gromet. This way the vapor and excess oil if any goes on the cloth, when they get dirty throw them out or wash then. Couple of hints, don't throw the oily ones in with the white wash load, the wive goes bonkers, also you can get these things in a million colors, so remember to color coordinate then with your engine color or bnody color. What a fashion guru I am, NOT

Wait a minute........you have a schrunchy (I don't have a freakin' clue how to spell it either) on your corvette?? This is not okay. No matter how clever the fix is, this is not okay.........

There's no reason why you can't drill another hole in one valve cover and install a grommet and push in breather cap. A speed shop local to me does that on valve covers that don't have enough holes pre-existing for some applications. I believe the proper hole size is 1.2" for easily available push-in breathers and grommets. Just make sure you thoroughly clean the valve cover afterwards so any metal shavings are removed and buff down the sharp edges.
