The white princess came out of storage about 2 weeks ago. Since then I drove about 250 miles. Yesterday I noticed a large puddle of engine oil on the floor. It's been about 4 days since it was last started so the oil on the floor is very recent.
Took a look under the engine (put her up on ramps) and there was a nasty oil mess all over the oil pan. The plug is tight. Looks like most of the oil is coming from the front of the pan.
I hoping maybe I just need a few new gaskets ??? Once the Y pipe is off, is it easy to get the pan off?

Best case senerio is the oil pan just loosened up or the gasket is/was bad. If a crank bearing seal is shot that will run you a few bucks, unless you're adept at pulling engines apart.
Just for grins look topside on the engine as well. Had an oil leak on an old pickup years ago that looked like a main seal had gone. But when the mechanic got things apart enough to where he could see everything it turned out to be a bad gasket on top so the oil was coming down the back of the block.
Good luck!

check the gaskets where the fuel pump mounts to the engine
If its coming from the front it should be very hard to fix. Timing chain cover, fuel pump gasket, pan gasket, or front seal. All of those can be replaced without tearing the motor down.
Good luck

Well, the oil on the garage floor seems to have slowed down quite a bit. I think most of the oil was coming from the driver side valve cover. The bolts were really lose so I snugged them up. The oil pan gasket still needs replaced...
