And remember when you are putting it back together, don't over-tighten the bolts.
It is very easy to distort the pan.

Anybody have any suggestions of upgrading the oil pan. Maybe chrome or alum. The reason I bring this up, mine has a dent in it caused from the previous owner (maybe ran over a rock or something). So I was thinking of removing it and replacing it.
