Oil Pressure Gauge Connection

When you make your line up for the mech. gauage I would make it out of copper line instead of plastic, I've seen the plastic ones break,no fun to see smoke coming from under the hood and freeking out when you look at the gauages and see no oil pressure |frown| |confusing|

i couldnt agree more.. go to your local home improvement store and get a refrigerator ice maker water line tube and two compression fittings.

or if you want to convert to electric I have a gauge ill send you for free..

Are you using an electrical gauge as well? Would your gauge fit within the gauge cluster?

no im still using mechanical.. i do have a gauge cluster from a later model as a spare. the gauge is the same size..

How do you know if you have a mechanical or electrical guage? |confusing|

look at your oil sending unit (location described above)

it if has a tube its mechanical, wires = electrical
