Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.

There is no place in the world you can get the help you can get from this site. These guys go overboard to help. It has been a support group that is making my rebuilding experience with my 82CE a lot less scary. It is the best money you will ever spend. Guys have pointed me towards eBay for good buys, answered repair issues. Now I will get off my soapbox on how great this site is. Of course any site is only as good as the people that are part of it.

Gurtz, my zz4 crate also runs high oil pressure, around 75 psi at start up, 40 to 50 after getting hot, been like that since i got it 4 years ago..or, was it 5..??
My ZZ4 also runs 80psi then runs at 60-80 when warm.

10-4, gentlemen! Thanks for the info! I feel mucho better!!
gurtz, my understanding is that a lot of chrome on an engine while cause the oil pressure to get dangerously high. You might want to consider pulling some of that stuff. It just so happens however, the oil pressure on mine is pretty low.

(my new gm crate is running about the same pressure as yours gurtz)
