I just installed some Edelbrock E street aluminum heads and they recommend Champion RC-12YC spark plugs. These are quite long and not a lot of header clearance. Is there a spark plug with a shorter porcelain part that any of you would recommend that will fit these heads? Thanks

Here's a can of worms cross-reference for that plug #. I personally would not run a Champion plug in anything but lawn equipment, but that's just me. I prefer to use OE brand plugs...AC/Delco for GM products. Only other brand I would use is NGK.

I use NGK platinum in my 82 CE. I have found Delco plugs to be of questional quality since they have been manufactured overseas.

I think they are made by NGK.

I have NGK V-Power standard spark plugs in my 72, but I have an MSD 6A spark box and distributor.

I use only AC Delco Products, R44TS spark plugs in my 350 / 330 mouse and they perform well with my with iron 2.02 heads.

See if any of these plugs will work for you. I have them in my .040 over small block and had to use the Accel shorty plugs because of the headers. No problem after several years,.
