i got a plug wire problem... my taylor spiro pros with only about 100 miles on them wont fit between the hooker side pipe headers and the plugs on #1 and #3
so i bought a set of MSD wires ($90 !!!!!) and they wont fit either.
i think i need a plug with a 45 degree angle.
anyone got hooker supercomp side pipe header and a BB and wires that dont touch the pipes on 1 and 3
what kind?

When I ordered my Taylor wires (custom fit for your engine) they need to be for cars equipped with headers, that could be the problem. Check with your local speed shop.

For the life of me I can't remember what company, but one of the big plug wire companies makes plug wires with bendable boots on the plug end, just for this use. Do some searching and you should be able to come up with who makes them.
I have Headman Headers on my BB and have the same problem. I bought a set of the heat boots out of the Jegs catalog. They aren't factory equipment but you can at least choose from several colors and they work really well.
Accell used to make "shortie" header spark plugs just for that problem and if I remember right, they also came with the washers to index the electrode to the intake valve.......Bill

I had the same problems even with the MSD flex boots. I now use Accel wires and use the 45 degree boots on 4 of the 6 plugs. I also use the heat shield sleeves that connect at the plugs which help but one still need to do some good quality wire routing to keep them off the headers.
I ahve hooker headers on my 76, installed moroso wires no problems
