Hey gang;During the winter I bought a Procomp HEI billet Distributer,with 50,000 volt performance coil,It's a real sharp looking dist.I am getting ready to put it in,have any of you put one of these in or had any dealing with them?any special problems with them that you know of,any special settings,I've changed dists b-4 so I know how to do it,just wondering if any body had any problems with them,Thanx ,Ron

I know the voices aren't real, but they have some pretty cool ideas...

I use the Mallory version on my 78's. It cleaned up my ignition deficiencies, ( when used with descent wires and plugs ).

Stock point ignition is 20,000 volts 20Kv
HEI ignition is 40 KV.
50 KV is a nice system, as long as you use the correct wires, cap and rotor with them. Ask Norbert.
I just bought one myself and awaiting delivery. I also bought one of their aluminum water pumps, heads and crane cam. I'll post more as things progress.
BTW, the I spoke to the performance shop that sells the distributers, pumps, heads, etc and they said they ship over 500 distributers/month and have had zero problems with them.
