Uh...look closely...that is a "G", not a "C"!!
That makes it a February build date.

Thursday, Feb. 8th, 1968. That makes more sense, now!Adams' Apple2007-11-07 20:42:24

Does Febuary sound right for a 10854 sequence number?

The final VIN produced in Feb was #12647, final prod. for Jan. was #10386. Sounds legit to me. It is an early Feb. car.

Vette(s): 1973 LS4 4 speed Coupe. Silver & Oxblood 1996 LT1 Coupe. Arctic White & Tan.
This 1968 Registry has a pic of a plate with a similar "C"/"G" syndrome. Unhappy

At first glance I thought it was a "C" also. But Oct 29, '67 was also a Sunday.
