Hi guy,
Months ago, Ben (cthulu?) posted a great description of how to set initial ignition timing by adjusting to maximum intake vacuum. I cannot find it in a search of this site. Can anyone point me to the thread -OR- answer this question for me: do you set idle timing using this technique with or without the vacuum advance connected? I know you disconnect the vacuum adv. for normal setting of initial timing (using a light and just setting to a pre-defined number of degrees), but I thought the vacuum technique might be different...
Thanks!
