Lots of Bling-Bling there! When you get totally done with that engine and start to get bored with it let me me know, I will take it off your hands. Are you bringing it to Fort Wayne in June? I sure would like to see it in person.

I also needed it in place for the fitment of the side pipes. I also had to determine where to fabricate the bung hole for the o2 sensor, for the computer. The engine is fuel injected. What you see as a carburator is really a 1000 CFM throttle body. Since I took these pics I've done a lot more. One thing that I think is cool is; I took the fuel rails off to polish them, then I bought "65" fuel injection emblems, made a template to make holes in the emblems which fit perfectly onto the sides of the fuel rails, which then mount up to the intake. It adds a little red/white/blue color. I even had the flexplate nickel plated. Everything is ported and polished. The headers also. The interior of the Holley air cleaner is as polished as the exterior. I also added 1,200 degree socks(boots) to the wires because they are a bit close to the headers. I can go on and on. I'll have to take newer pictures. I'm building the entire car from the ground up-inside and out.  I guess that I'm about as anal as can be. corvette440hp2008-04-13 17:16:46
Good Golly Miss Molly that is an amazing amount of chrome. Your gonna hafta run turbines on it to keep it cool.

Very Nice....
Actually the only thing that's chrome is a cover for the oil filter, which also hides a huge magnet to trap metalic particles. Everything is polished aluminum or polished stainless steel. Just about every nut and bolt in the car will be stainless steel..........I'm a freak! corvette440hp2008-04-13 17:17:43

It`s not my baby but I dont think there are too many that have owned one longer than I have and  I just repainted and installed its major components back into it after setting for 35 years. The car has actually been renewed from from to rear. All thats left is the rear bumpers and a new exhaust system.  After that length of time most everything works to my amazement. And the current odometer reads 28086 .
