Gold MemberI just installed some Edelbrock E street aluminum heads and they recommend Champion RC-12YC spark plugs. These are quite long and not a lot of header clearance. Is there a spark plug with a shorter porcelain part that any of you would recommend that will fit these heads? Thanks

Vette(s): 1973 Orange Metallic Coupe (orig owner), L82, 4 spd (WR), PS, (A/C & PW (I installed from wrecked 73)), leather, AM/FM Stereo, ran with '65 FI unit earlier & will again some day.

Check out the AC Delco equivalent plug and see if it's any shorter.

You might look at a set of ACCEL spark plugs. They make a shorter porcelain plug that is made for headers. I installed a set on my '79 L48 and they run fine.
