I have one wire that lays almost on top of the header and naturally gets burned and starts to short out the engine. Can I buy just one spark plug wire protector for that wire or am I relagated to buy a whole set?? I know they make sleeves that fit over the boot and protect it from the header heat. Does anyone have one that they might want to sell ??
Thanks

MSD wires can be bought singally, in sets, or you can order single parts for the wires. If you buy the "cut to length youself" sets, they also come with extra parts.

Jegg's sells real nice plug wire boots. I have headers on my big block. Bought a set of these in chevy orange and they work great and you can get them in all different colors. I also bought a starter blanket from them to avoid heat problem with my starter. Very pleased.

Scott,
Go with a set of wires with ceramic boot insulators. They're a little pricey but they last.
I had a freind who spent more on regular plug wires & thermal "socks" than if he bought the ceramics in the first place.
They're made by Jacob's.
Try Jegs or Summit.
