Well, the new tach cable arrived today. Should I lubricate it and if so, what do I use?

i have one of those little cable lube adapters that connects to grease zert.

i just use regular old tube grease and it works great.

Light weight chassis grease is fine, or a graphite type grease.

Graphite was recommended to me for both the speedo and tach cables as grease tends to thicken up some when it gets cold.
