I'm not sure that anyone really speaks true english anymore!Don't worry about it. What carb are ya runnin'....that could make a bit of a change for your hp.Do ya all have dyno testers their? If ya do ...it's worth doing that .....it can tell ya many ways to fine tune your engine for mor hp..My 2 pennys anyways.......gota luv slang man... |saluteflag| AND...if ya really want to get more hp....remove all the emissions crap.! |biggrin|

Vette(s): 69 coupe with recent body off restoration.
mini, you could install a nitros oxide system for easy hp gain, but you only benefit from it when you push the go-fast button. Only about 10 button blasts on each NO2 bottle. Just a higher flow carb and intake won't help much if they are not complimented with good breathing heads. If you are handy and want to invest some time, look into an Edelbrock head, cam, intake and carb system. It provides a balanced system to optimize performance gains. You want to look into your present compression. You might be able to up it a bit by using a thinner head gasket. Better check piston to valve clearance first or all your work will be for naught. If you have the time, you could port your heads and port match to the gasket. There are books on the process. In most cases, what you bolt on to go fast must be complimented by other parts in the system. If not, you will be plagued with broken parts or achieve unsatisfactory hp gains IMO. Good Luck.
