Vette(s): 1970 corvette conv, 350 auto.
I have a base engine  350/300hp Vert, the engine has its original dual snorkle air cleaner but, cast aluminum valve covers (lt1 style), I am trying to do all the odds and ends to get it back to stk (or at least what I can afford) is there a difrence between a corvette valve cover and any other chev 350 valve cover of the same vintage. Thanks Wink

If you mean the stamped steel covers, I don't think so...they're all pretty much the same on 350s. The earlier 327s and 283 had differently shaped v. covers, but Imma thinking the 350s were all the same...hth Adams' Apple2008-11-14 06:23:50

The only difference is the spot welded stands for plug wire looms that most other vehicles used.  But if you have a pair with the stands, you can usually grind them off so it doesn't show.

Yeah...I fergot about those. The stand-offs/brackets for the carb solenoid wire on the driver side, etc. Not all 350 vcs had those things, but most any of them after 1970 do, I would think...
Being a '70 model car, I'd suspect you'd need the ones with the brackets...

That's what it looked like after sitting for about 18 years, lots of critters had it made with the comforts of a vette inside and under the hood.
The pics above is what it looks like now.
