Sarge, I have a 3.08 rear. My trans is the turbo 400. First gear is about 2.5 But with the torque converter multiplication the trans creates a total of 5.2 This right from Chevrolet. I need to check as see what the stall speed is on my converter. It sounds like this may be a good cam for me, depending on my converter.

I don't think I would have any problem converting to a roller cam set up. I will check that out.

Sarge, I am 125 miles North of Columbus. It translates to about 2 hours. Just a word of warning. Rt 71 between Akron and Columbus, and just south of Columbus is know as "Bear Valley" due to all the friendly officer just waiting to meet you.

Are you going go in Friday and stay? Any plans as of yet? And which route are you going to use to get there? I may be close to on the way, or way back. I would love to meet you somewhere along the way. Let me know. I will be out of the school about 4 or 5 on Friday, free Saturday, and working part of the day Sunday in the parts store. Not sure which part yet.

Thanks for the heads up on the "welcoming committee" of I-71. I will be taking the I-90 to I-271 to I-71 there and back. I will be there (Coumbus) Friday night and heading home Sunday evening. Maybe Sunday evening on our way back, Michele and I can stop by your hometown. Or we can stop and meet wherever is conveinent for you and have a dinner someplace. Let me know what time you work til Sunday and we can adjust our travel times.

At least a 50hp difference, most likely more. Definitely a good bang for the buck. How much room do you have between the air filter housing and the hood on yours?

Sarge, following that route, you will be within about 8 miles of my house. In fact, you will be going right past where I met Dave and Ana. I met them at the Ohio Turnpike and Rt 8. We went one mile north to 271 and Rt 8, and had dinner at a Denny's.

When you get on 271 south, you will go by Rt 8 before you get to I 71.

We have to get together. Looking forward to it. I will request to work the earlier part of the day on the 12th, so my evening will be free. Keep me posted.
