Vette(s): 1978 greenwood custom vette, 468 blower motor side pipes.
CAR HAS NOT BEEN DRIVEN REG FOR AT LEAST 14 MONTHS. HAS BEEN AT A REPAIR SHOP WHERE IT WAS PUT AT THE BACK OF THE PRIORITY LIST. QUESTION, WHEN I START IT UP IT WILL GIVE SOME WHITE SMOKE ( WATER VAPOR, IT WILL DISAPATE IN THE AIR ) AFTER A FEW MINUTES IT WILL GO AWAY. ALSO I WILL GET SOME WATER DRIPPING FROM MY EXHAUST PIPES.
IS THIS AN INDICATION OF WATER IN THE FUEL OR A LEAKING HEAD GASKET ??
DROVE TO MIAMI YESTERDAY FOR A SHOW, ABOUT 1.5 HOURS AND IT DID NOT OVERHEAT. STARTS AND RUNS GOOD. ??

I would say that nothing major is wrong.Car that don't run that often allways have water condincation in the exhaust.The only problem is rust out from the inside out.I dought it's water in the oil,you can allways check that by looking at your oil.If it's got water in the oil(leaking head gasket)It will look like chocolate milk and the car will run hot.I dought you have a problem.

Typically, it's just a result of heated exhaust gases on a cold pipe. Kind of the way a good old cold beer mug does! Or a can of beer or maybe a bottle of beer, hmm I'm thirsty!

Sounds like normal condensation to me, also. Cooler weather will do this. The solution is to drive it all the time!

This will be the first advice I've handed over since signing up and it really only repeating what has been said above.

I've been starting mine up every now and again while I'm trying fix other problems and mine has been dripping water from exhaust after I start it. If I rev it enough it goes away.

I've had it sitting in the garage for about 3 month. It's quite humid here in Auckland so I'm not surprised moisture condenses in the exhaust.

Being a 78 this car has catoletic-converters and correct me if I'm wrong but I thought these convert exhaust gases to liquid  This would cause the leaking fluid plus I agree there would be an amount of condensation.

Looking at your car my 1st question is how new the exhaust is? New or fairly new exhaust tends to weep condensation for a undetermined time period based on the amount of driving.
If it is fairly new then I wouldn't have issue. After a couple of years depending on driving habits I would without a doubt want to look into this. (Probally sooner with the blower.)
Depending with the amount of heat emited, the pipe structure, and driving time condensation could occur for quite some time.
