I am somewhat familiar with the term 383 stroker but need further clarification.  What exactly is the "383 stroker?"  I understand that the stoke of the piston is enhanced but please explain this to me in better detail, thank you very much!Smile

Vette(s): 1971 convertible,375 HP 350ci,Muncie 4-speed,Edelbrock aluminum heads and RPM air-gap manifold,HEI distrubiter - old school mechanical tach drive. LOUD side exhaust!
It's a 350 block that has a crankshaft from a 400 small block installed. That crank gives a longer stroke, or travel, for the pistons, thereby increasing overall displacement to 383ci.
